MAHSA University’s Master of Medical Sciences is designed primarily for students who can then expect to continue onto doctoral studies (Ph.D., M.D., or the equivalent).

• Academic

  (i) A Bachelor’s Degree (Level 6 MQF) in Biomedical Sciences, Life Sciences Health or equivalent qualifications from any institution of higher education accredited by the Faculty Postgraduate Academic Board and Senate with a minimum CGPA of 2.75; or | (ii) A Bachelor’s Degree (Level 6 MQF) in any of the above degrees not meeting CGPA of 2.75 but the above CGPA of 2.50, can be accepted subject to rigorous internal assessment: or | (iii) Other qualifications equivalent to a Bachelor’s Degree (Level 6 MQF) with minimum CGPA of 2.50 that are accepted by MAHSA University Senate. | (iv) A Bachelor’s Degree (Level 6 MQF) in any of the above mentioned fields not meeting CGPA of 2.50 can be accepted subjected to a minimum of five (5) years working experience in relevant field or with proof of publication. | Local Candidates are required to have:Malaysian University English Test (MUET) Band 3 | International candidates are required to have:Any of the above Bachelor’s Degrees (Level 6 MQF) graduated from the recognized Universities. | at least International English Language Testing System (IELTS) Band 5; OR | Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) 410 – 413 if their first degree is from University where English is not the medium of instruction
