About this course

Traditionally, actuaries have used data to answer financial risk problems. However, two significant trends are transforming the world of finance: an increase in the volume and types of data, and a concentration on risk management. This programme will get students to learn about the classic actuarial approach to risk management, as well as some of the most recent areas of data science, such as artificial intelligence and machine learning, and their practical applications in finance and insurance.
